Which Pizza Is The Best?
I am an expatriate working in Saudi Arabia. Its just a month since i reached here.. So pretty new to an Arab nation. I wanted to try out pizzas. Which pizza is the best? I have heard Pizza is actually an Italian food. So do u think Italian pizza is better or Lebanese pizza?
If you are from Saudi, please let me know which restaurant i can find it?

This is for Hamad.. Lebanese pizza is really called Fatayer.. its the lebna/zaatar on bread we Saudi’s eat so much of..
OH.. I cannot remember the exact street name. but the best to me in all Khobar is Shalal pastry..
If someone can direct you to Agrabeyah area its 2 blocks south of the Al-Qtasiyah sports club there in Khobar.. They sell excellent lebna, zaatar (thyme spice blend), spinach, cheese, fatayers (or what you call lebanese pizza).. they also have the best falafal sandwiches.. Falafel is something you need to try also.. they are little fried bean balls.. you make a mash of fava and chickpea beans with arabic spices and onion, garlic and couriander leaves. grind it up. and ball it up and fry it. then place them in pitta bread with pickles, tomatoes, lettuce, and tahini sauce (sesame seed paste sauce).. some times you can even get the sandwich stuffed with additional things like fried egg, fried eggplant and french fried potatoes.. (this is in addition to the falafel balls).. also its so huge. that two can split one sandwich.. very filling..
as for regular pizza.. everyone has their preferences.. we have pizza inn, pizza hut, dominoes, , pizza factory.. little ceasers.. just about any American brand (italian) pizza chain is here..
my preference is pizza inn… but others like other brands..

I like Pizza Hut the best I guess. Papa Johns is also good. Dominoes is good too. I didn’t like Pizza Inn too much. but, all these chains aren’t really authentic Italian pizzas. For an authentic Italian pizza, you better go to Italy or to a good Italian restaurant.
