How Foreigner Can Complain To The Police In Canada To Report Fraud Case Commited By Canadian?
I am a student, doing my first year. My Canadian educational representative didn’t pay my tuition fees given him by my parents in my home country. I know that he is currently in Canada. my parents did report to the police in my home country but can I do the same in Canada. What rights do I have as a foreigner with a Study Permit? How to find him in Canada?

If you have ask if Canada has jurisdiction in this case. Where was teh crime committed? If you signed a contract w/this representative in your home country…then the jurisdiction lies there.

His nationality doesn’t matter — the issue is where the fraud was committed, and you do have the right to try to find him by reporting him to the police. However, sad to say, he might be unfindable, not even Canadian and residing in Timbuktu. Your parents and you may be the victims of Internet fraud if you never met this person.

Go to the nearest Canadian embassy, high commissioner consulate. Ask to see the legal attache and explain your case.
