What Countries Offer Free Health Care For Uk/usa 50+ Yr Old ?

I want to find a place to live where I will have free health care. I have no health issues now but can’t afford USA health insurance. I enjoy the expatriate life style and speak French, Spanish and Portuguese well. I am looking for new home base where I can settle after a few years more of travel. Somewhere with a relatively low cost of living.

My suggestion to you is if you are already a citizen of the UK, go back there. Yes taxes are higher, but you also will receive health care in return. As you know their health care system is based on need not ability to pay.
You will NEVER receive anything for free in the US, including but not limited to health care.

I think most EU countries would offer you this but it all depends on which passport you have because it would very hard for an over 50 to emigrate anywhere.

None. Right now nobody is crazy enough to offer free health care to upper-middle aged immigrants who haven’t been living there and paying their enormous taxes for 20 or 30 years.

I think Mexico has socialized health care. Why don’t you move there?
PS only their healthcare system seems to lose swine flu victims. Isn’t socialized medicine great!
