Comparing internet activities of Chinese and Americans (surfing for porn excluded)

internet use graph.gif The recently published a bar graph comparing the activities of of users with those of Chinese users. While some activities, like pursuing an education or watching video (one in the same, really), were statistically similar between the two counties, other activities were far more common in one country than the other, revealing some fundamental differences in Chinese and American tendencies.

According to these statistics, two general statements seem to hold true – while the Chinese spend their time communicating with one another, Americans like to use the to find various ways to handle their . The question is, do Americans in stay true to their American tendencies (and spend ), or is there something in the Chinese air [besides all those ] that would turn any banker into an unbridled blogger?
